Effective date: November 4, 2026

This policy explains what information World of Payne (worldofpayne.com) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. “We” means World of Payne, run by Tanner Payne.

Information we collect

  • Contact form: your name, email address, and message when you contact us. We use it only to reply.
  • Newsletter: your email address if you subscribe. The newsletter is delivered through Jetpack (Automattic). You can unsubscribe with the link in any email.
  • Comments: if you comment, your name, email, the comment, and your IP address may be stored to manage spam and moderation.
  • Server and security logs: our host and Cloudflare, which protects and speeds up the site, record standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time of visit.
  • Analytics: we use Google Analytics (through MonsterInsights) to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. It uses cookies and collects data like device, browser, approximate location, and pages viewed.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We and our partners use them to keep the site working, measure traffic, and (once ads run) show and measure ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work without them.

We use or plan to use Google AdSense to show ads.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, lets Google and its partners serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
  • You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.
  • You can opt out of some third-party vendors’ personalized ads at www.aboutads.info.

Social sharing

We share posts to X, Facebook, and Instagram using Buffer. If you click through from those platforms, their own privacy policies apply to what they collect.

How we use information

To run and secure the site, reply to messages, send the newsletter you asked for, understand readership, and show ads. We do not sell your personal information.

  • Everyone: you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and unsubscribe at any time.
  • EU and UK (GDPR): you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your data, and to data portability. We rely on your consent (newsletter, cookies where required) and our legitimate interest in running the site. You may complain to your local data protection authority.
  • California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention

We keep contact messages only as long as needed to respond, newsletter emails until you unsubscribe, and comments while they are published. Log and analytics data are kept by our providers under their own retention settings.
